The Masked Dancer is back for its second series on ITV, and Prawn Cocktail is one of the 12 undercover celebrities strutting their stuff.
Judges , , and Peter Crouch do their best to guess the identities of the secret celebs.
The series, a spin-off of the ever-popular Masked Singer, has bagged itself a primetime Saturday night slot this year.
It first debuted on screens in the summer of 2021 – and you can expect a clash of the titans as it goes head to head with .

Here are all the clues we’ve been given so far about Shrimp:
- Known for having a retro flavour, but has stood the test of time, so perhaps a star who
- Not sure even I saw myself become a prawn cocktail, a real surprise, surprise – maybe someone who’s a fan or friend of the late Cilla Black?
- Was seen in an ‘animal-friendly establishment’ so is probably a known fan of animals.
- They’re hoping to be ‘Shrimply the best’ with their disco dancing, so clearly likes to come out on top
- Part of The Gold Shrimp Club – possibly an Olympian?
- ‘I may be an appetiser, but I’ve got an insatiable appetite for success’.
- Is ‘quite tall’, according to the panel
Who is Prawn Cocktail on The Masked Dancer?
Rebecca Adlington
Former Olympic swimmer Rebecca Adlington could definitely fit in with many of the clues which clearly linked Prawn Cocktail to having a winning streak.
Elsewhere, some hints could be seen to relate to Rebecca’s former profession, with Prawn Cocktail shown by the sea in their clue package.
The panel also noted the contestant was quite tall, so could well fit in with Rebecca, who is 5 ft 10 tall.
Sheridan Smith
There were quite a few musical references thrown in, which may link into Prawn Cocktail being actress, singer and all-rounder Sheridan.
Also, Sheridan famously played Cilla Black in the biopic about her life on ITV – could she be about to give viewers a surprise, surprise! of their own?
