In the crossover that we absolutely did not know we needed, ’s resident train enthusiast Francis Bourgeois has shared footage of himself meeting and on the underground.
Yes, really.
The sensation shared a video of himself walking through Tottenham Court Road station in , running to catch an Elizabeth line train – named in honour of William’s late grandmother .
He is heard pondering to his 2.9million followers, ‘Have you ever found yourself at Tottenham Court Road station wanting to go eastbound and the train you’re wanting to get is ready to go?
‘Well, me too. Pretty much every time,’ Francis jokes as the video sees him sprinting towards the train.
And just as he’s settled down into his seat, Francis notices William and Kate – yes, the actual future king and queen – making their way down the carriage.
Kate, who stunned in a ravishing red dress for her trip underground, extended her hand to shake Francis’, telling him: ‘Very nice to meet you.’
‘Hi,’ the stunned content creator responded as William then took his hand and said, ‘Very nice to meet you.’
Francis stuttered, ‘Erm, very nice to meet you. I hope you enjoy the Elizabeth line.’
‘Yeah, it’s been good, pretty good. Have a good day,’ William answered, with Francis offering a sweet ‘cheerio’ to the married couple as they exited the train.
Fans of Francis’ train content went wild for their meeting, with one writing: ‘Best plot twist I have ever seen.’
A second added: ‘The most endearing awkwardness ever, but I’m here for it… every. single. time.’
While a third penned: ‘can’t believe Will and Kate got to meet royalty!!!’
Others were left humoured by the fact that the video was filmed in Francis’ classic POV style, despite the fact he was meeting royalty.

Another said: ‘They deffo laughed about it in the car ?.’
William and Kate also shared clips from their trip on the London Underground, reposting Francis’ video, as well as footage of them greeting other users of the Elizabeth line before heading to the Dog and Duck pub in Soho.
And what song did they use to soundtrack the video of their adventures? ’s Sound of the Underground, of course.
