Travis Scott’s headline London gig almost disrupted by crowd member lobbing ‘heavy object’ at rapper

returned to a London stage last night for the first time since last November’s – but things did not go without a hitch.

His headline gig at ’s O2 Arena on August 6 was also overall after 10 people were Ki**ed at his music festival in a deadly crowd surge in Houston, Texas last year.

Announcing the show on his social media in June, saying at the time that he was leaving the studio to ‘take it to [a] bigger speaker’, the rapper performed with the support of partner and their four-year-old daughter Stormi, who have .

However, one individual in the crowd took the opportunity to throw an object at Scott while he was performing early on in his set.

It was reportedly a heavy item, as a loud bang was heard as it made contact with the floor.

The rapper was said to be unimpressed and annoyed by the incident but carried on with his show without interruption, avoiding its distraction.

Scott donned futuristic white shades for the show with slits across the eyes, as well as his usual uniform of baggy jeans and a graphic T-shirt, with a leather jacket that he shed early on.

He also treated the crowd to a new song, playing God’s Country, which was scrapped from Kanye West’s 2021 album Donda.

His London performance came hot on the heels of the announcement earlier this week that he had in September.

The 31-year-old has been confirmed to perform seven shows at Zouk nightclub in Las Vegas’s Resorts World, where Scott – whose real name is Jacques Bermon Webster II – will put on ‘a mind-bending, first-of-its-kind nightclub residency experience’ with his Road To Utopia shows.

It comes after his headline performance at Nevada’s Day N Vegas festival, which was due to take place from September 2-4,  timing, and production issues’.

He has only performed a handful of shows since Astroworld in November 2021, keeping a low profile in the intervening months, and initially performing at a few private events, including a short guest appearance at a Coachella afterparty on April 17 and a private pre-Oscars party in Bel-Air on March 26.

He made his first TV appearance since when he performed at the 2022 Billboard Music Awards in May, which , before making a surprise appearance in Miami in late July.

The Highest in the Room rapper is facing a class action court filing from May, which claims  at Astroworld, 732 of which were ‘severely’ injured and required extensive medical treatment.

After the incident, in which he expressed his ‘devastation’ over the turn of events.
