TV star’s cancer fears after drastic weight loss and hospital dash

A former and star has revealed she is waiting to find out if she has after being rushed to hospital twice.

Rebecca Jane, 38, , before appearing on Dragon’s Den in 2012 and going on to become a Big Brother housemate in 2017.

She later went on to feature on various panel programmes, including Loose Women, Jeremy Vine and on .

Up until last month she was also the deputy leader of the UK Independence Party.

However now Rebecca has shared a lengthy post online explaining how she is being treated as a ‘potential’ bowel after .

Writing in length on X, Rebecca said the past three weeks had been ‘horrendous’ as she was now a ‘suspected bowel cancer’ case.

‘I’ve lost 1 stone & 3lbs in 2.5 weeks. I can’t eat. I’ve had 2 blue light trips to hospital and morphine doesn’t cure the pain,’ she said.

While Rebecca went on to say she didn’t believe she had cancer, she did concede something was ‘very wrong’.

She then took aim after calling out what she labelled ‘NHS incompetence’.

‘A&E have been THE WORST… but my GP & other consultants have been the best!’ she explained.

‘I speak a lot of NHS incompetence, it’s only fair I speak when they get it right too.

‘A consultant referred me under the 2 week rule at 11am today. By 7pm, the hospital called, booking me in for the investigation she required. That’s incredible.’

She added: ‘It’s day 20 of the ‘s**t show of my stomach’, and 3 weeks tomorrow since I was first taken to hospital.

‘I’ll get to the bottom of this, and hopefully it will help SO many of you who have similar issues!’

Rebecca first rose to fame in 2015 with daytime TV and media appearances during which she promoted her ‘honey-trapping’ business, where she and her team would catch cheating partners in the act.

She was then selected to appear on Big Brother alongside close pal and rumoured boyfriend at the time, Ex On The Beach star Kieran Lee.

After a string of TV appearances, at the end of 2022 she also looked towards a career in politics, being selected to help lead UKIP, however she left the role in January.
