Since Jerry Tillery in the year 2019, he is the first Notre Dame player to be picked in the first round. He had a productive three-year career in South Bend, with 138 total tackles, eight interceptions, and sixteen pass breakups in 31 games (19 starts).

In his final season, he earned consensus All-America accolades after posting 34 tackles, two tackles for loss, three interceptions, and four pass breakups in seven games. He’ll now be part of a stacked Baltimore secondary that includes two Pro Bowl cornerbacks in Marcus Peters and Marlon Humphrey, as well as one of the league’s best safety in Marcus Williams, who signed with the Ravens this summer. Kyle Hamilton of Notre Dame celebrated with his friends and family before traveling to the Las Vegas stage when the Ravens selected him with the No. 14 pick on Thursday night. The safety and his lengthy girlfriend viewed off their handshake instead of hugging and kissing their love of life, as most prospects do after they are drafted. And it wasn’t just any handshake. Theirs had a lot of steps and ended with a dab. The video quickly went viral on social media, prompting many people to refer to the celebration as “Couple Goals.”
Hamilton immediately departed after the handshake to go get his Ravens helmet and jersey from NFL commissioner Roger Goodell. Hamilton revealed how he and his girlfriend, Reece, made the handshake during the Raven press conference. They’ve been together for about six years.
