RuPaul’s season 5 is rapidly approaching and the brand new line-up has been announced!
First launching back in 2019, has made household names of Queens like , Bimini Bon Boulash and Cheryl Hole.
Across this season, there will be nine guest judges who will be helping Drag Icon and judge supremo, RuPaul Charles, determine who will be awarded the coveted title of the UK’s Next Drag Race Superstar.
Each week, the queens face challenges that test their drag skills to the max and although the crucial decision lies with Mama Ru and Ru’s loyal Drag Race UK besties, , Alan Carr and Graham Norton, a host of celebrity super fans also join in on the fun and help deliberate the fate of the queens.
This year’s celebrity judges will be Aisling Bea, Alexandra Burke, Cush Jumbo, Daphne Guinness, Joel Dommett, Kristen McMenamy, Sophie-Ellis Bextor, Suranne Jones and Yasmin Finney.
So who’s in the cast of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK’s fifth season? Let’s meet the queens…
Banksie
Banksie, 23, from Manchester is obsessed with all things burlesque, and loves to channel the ‘dark, horrible women’ of the 1930s and 1940s with a modern twist.
They are also on a mission to disrupt your preconceived notions of what drag is.
Alexis Saint-Pete
Alexis Saint-Pete, 29, came to London from Poland to follow her dreams of becoming a ballet dancer.
As the first Polish queen in Drag Race her-story, the self-described “clown in a supermodel body” is hoping to make her former home proud.
Cara Melle
Cara Melle, 26, also from London is the one to watch as her secret talent is Beyonce impersonations!

DeDeLicious
You might be surprised to learn that DeDeLicious, 20, has appeared on Drag Race UK before.
Although we haven’t seen the Kent native as a contestant, she has designed a number of gorgeous gowns worn by her drag sister, series three winner Krystal Versace.
Speaking of her Krystal connection, DeDe says, ‘she’s sex on legs, I’m a clown on stilts.’
Kate Butch
Kate Butch, 26, from Buxton describes herself as’“the Comic Sans of drag’.
And describes her drag style as “Hollywood starlet with a migraine”.
Michael Marouli
Michael Marouli, 39, from Newcastle, left his hometown for a life of sun and sequins on Gran Canaria – the Spanish island she describes as a ‘concrete gay jungle’.
Michae started performing in drag a few years later and has now been doing it for 15 years.
Miss Naomi Carter
Miss Naomi Carter, 23, from Doncaster has two important women in her life – Beyonce and Naomi Campbell!
After applying for the last three seasons, she is now ready to represent her Gambian heritage and death drop her way to the crown.
Tamara Thomas
Tamara Thomas, 25, from Hartlepool is ready to shine!
Growing up in a town where there were no gay bars, she moved to London where she became the star of the drag brunch scene.
Vicki Vivacious
Vicki Vivacious, 36, from Cornwall often works between six and nine shows a week in the theatre, and often brings her magic to the armed forces.
She also described herself as a ‘glamourpuss with the mouth of Kerry Katona.’
RuPaul’s Drag Race UK will air on BBC Three later this year.
