Jacky Oh, girlfriend of comedian and rapper DC Young Fly and star of American game show Wild N Out, has died aged 32.
It comes after the internet personality posted on that she was visiting Miami for a ‘mommy makeover,’ which she eventually deleted, as reported by . A cause of death has not yet been confirmed.
Oh, real name Jacklyn Smith, was best known as one of the Wild ‘N Out girls after starring on the MTV series created by .
She was the long-term partner of internet personality DC Young Fly, 31, real name John Whitfield, who she met in 2015 after he was announced to be making his premiere on Wild ‘N Out.
The couple share three children, daughters Nova and Nala, and son Prince.
The star’s death was confirmed by a spokesperson from BET on a Facebook post.
It read: ‘We are deeply saddened by the passing of Jacklyn Smith, known to the world as Jacky Oh, a talented Wild ‘N Out family member whose impact will be forever treasured and missed.
‘Jacky Oh was a loving friend and beloved colleague of the Wild ‘N Out cast throughout five seasons.
‘More importantly, she was a tremendous mother to three beautiful children. The BET Media Group extends our condolences to the Smith family, DC Young Fly, B Simone, Nick Cannon, and all friends who loved and cared for Jacky Oh during this difficult time.’
Oh starred in a number of TV series, including Shift Drinks, Marc + Jenni, and The Worst Couple.
Her film credits include Switched At Love, Scheme Queens, and Clout.
On top of her onscreen roles, Oh has pursued a number of businesses, including one in real estate of which she created . She also ran her own cosmetics company,, which sells lipglosses.
Just weeks before her death, Oh wrote a touching social media post about how much she loved being a mum.
Posting a picture alongside her three youngsters, she wrote: ‘I do a lot . but being a mommy is my favorite.
‘God chose me 3X I promise i never take it for granted . Im so damn blessed man! Happy Mother’s Day mommys :) (sic).’
