Seth Rollins is the new World Heavyweight Champion after a hard fought match at Night of Champions.

The Visionary won an epic opening match – billed as one of three main events – with the , battling an injured leg to finally hit a Stomp and secure a huge win while leaving the rest of the show with a tough act to follow.

In the final match of the night, Jimmy Uso finally cracked and turned on Roman Reigns after the Tribal Chief pushed him too far, nailing him with a Superkick which cost him and Solo Sikoa the tag team titles.

It as already an emotional night for Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn, with the latter – a Muslim of Syrian descent – main eventing an historic show in Saudi Arabia, and retaining the gold

The second match of the night saw Raw newcomer Zoey Stark attack Becky Lynch with C360 at ringside to help Trish Stratus to victory after a fantastic match keeping to the show’s already high standards.

No one going into his Intercontinental Title match against GUNTHER, but he had fans live and at home believing as he delivered a valiant performances against the dominating champion.

He took the Ring General to the limit like few have been able to during his run of over 800 days as champion, and the key now is to follow through on this.

Asuka – which had lasted since last year’s WrestleMania – with an innovative use of the poison mist, sneakily spraying it on her hand and then blinding the EST to escape the KOD to score the win.

Unfortunately for Natalya, she couldn’t get going in her SmackDown Women’s Title match after a distracted from Dominik Mysterio gave Rhea Ripley an early opening to utterly decimate the veteran and pick up a quick win.

In a rematch from Backlash, against Brock Lesnar with both men looking for a measure of revenge, the American Nightmare looked incredibly strong even with a titanium cast on his arm.

He did try to use it as a weapon and refused to tap out, but it may have cost him as he passed out due to the pain of the Beast’s Kimura Lock.
