WWE superstar breaks down in tears over deaths of his two wrestling ‘brothers’

superstar Erick Rowan cried as he opened up about the tragic deaths of Brodie Lee and in an emotional interview on Monday Night Raw.

The former tag team champion, who was alongside Luke Harper (Lee) and Wyatt, as returned to the company in the alongside Bo Dallas (Uncle Howdy), Nikki Cross, Joe Gacy and Dexter Lumis.

Over the past few weeks, fans have seen tapes Bo chatting with his alter ego Howdy, and on Monday it was Erick’s turn.

It was his first time speaking on WWE programming since the deaths ofand in December 2020 and August 2023 respectively.

‘The last few years have been very, very hard. You know I used to have a family. We were unstoppable, inseparable, always had each other’s backs. And one day just, poof, the whole world changed,’ he told Howdy in their first sit-down interview.

He admitted the death of Lee (real name Jon Huber) ‘knocked him on his a**’, but he forced himself to keep moving.

‘And just when I thought I had everything going, my other brother…he’s gone too,’ he added as he started to break down in tears. ‘I had no more family, no more will. I fell down a well, I couldn’t get out.

‘I didn’t want to get out, why? Why would I want to get out? I felt catatonic, I couldn’t move, numb to everything, numb to the world. And who’s going to miss me? I’m just Rowan.’

However, he said Uncle Howdy/Bo reached out when he needed help the most, and he has found his purpose as part of the Wyatt Sicks.

‘We’re going to take our broken hearts and make beautiful art,’ he said before the promo ended.

The Wyatt Sicks made their presence felt later in the night, coming to the aid of Bo after he was ambushed by Chad Gable and his new allies the Creed Brothers.

Bo laughed his way through a beatdown from the trio, only for the lights to slowly drop as the rest of the group – in full masks – slowly made their way to the ring to pose as a sinister collective.
