Zara, who was on Love Island back in 2018, , which sees singletons who’ve been getting to know new loves over the internet finally meet in person.Â
It follows five couples as they get to know each other, with all the drama you’d expect thrown in.
But while working on the programme – which is set in a luxury Greek beach house – the host said she ‘thought a lot’ about Caroline, .Â
Chatting to fans on a recent Instagram Q&A, someone asked: ‘How did being a contestant on Love Island affect your approach to presenting?’
‘I have had an incredibly unique experience where I have been both a contestant and a presenter on a dating show!’ Zara wrote on her Instagram Stories.Â
She went on to share: ‘I thought of Caroline a lot, how comfortable she made me feel.
‘Her kindness is something I’ve never forgotten. She made time for everyone. She really elevated my experience to something even better than I could have imagined.’
Since leaving Love Island, Zara, 25, has impressed viewers with documentaries on Revenge Porn and Uncovering Rape Culture before getting her current gig.
Zara is acting as the show’s confidante as the daters figure out whether their relationship stands a chance in the real world.
Chatting to Metro.co.uk ahead of the programme’s launch, Zara shared: ‘Love In The Flesh exceeded expectations in every single way.
‘It celebrated people from all ethnicities and backgrounds. We had a same-sex couple, bisexual contributors, and it works so seamlessly.’
, adding: ‘It’s an entirely different show to what Love Island is,’Â
‘The difference is with a show like Love Island, you don’t know who is going to couple up with who, whereas with my show everyone has spoken beforehand.’
Zara is currently in a relationship with Made in Chelsea star Sam Thompson, with the pair often posting hilarious videos together on social media.
Love In The Flesh airs Wednesdays at 10pm on BBC Three.Â
