chief executive Vinai Venkatesham will leave the club next after announcing his decision to step down from the role.
Venkatesham has spent the last 13 years at the Emirates, having joined the Gunners as their head of global partnerships in 2010.
Since then, he’s risen up through the ranks of the club and he’s spent the last three years as the Gunners’ CEO.
However, Venkatesham has decided to pursue a new challenge and has informed the Gunners over his decision to resign.
According to the Athletic, he will step down in the summer of 2024.
The decision is said to be amicable and it allows the club plenty of time to appoint a successor.
As a non-executive director of British Olympics, Venkatesham has plenty of interests outside of football.
He worked on London 2012 before his appointment at the Emirates.
