striker has escaped FA punishment after grabbing defender Nathan Patterson by the throat.
The striker had to be torn away from Patterson after a full-time fracas at Goodison Park following Chelsea’s defeat to Everton.
Jackson was furious after his side’s defeat and Patterson took the brunt of his anger.
The forward has struggled at Stamford Bridge since his move from Villarreal and Chelsea’s defeat left the Blues in 12th, and closer to the relegation zone than the top four.
Chelsea feared that the defeat would be compounded by retrospective action taken on Jackson for his throat grab.
But the FA have decided that the incident was dealt with at the time, and see no reason to retrospectively charge Jackson.
It means Jackson will be available for the Christmas schdule.
Following the defeat on Merseyside, Mauricio Pochettino said he wanted to strengthen his squad in January.
‘We need to be more aggressive. Then it’s a massive assessment and when the transfer window opens, we will see what we can do,’ he said.
