The was back with a bang last weekend and there’s no letting up in the action with some blockbuster fixtures to look forward to over the next few days.

New-look and take top billing this weekend with both clubs looking to turn in improved performances after their opening fixtures.

Newcastle showed last season was no fluke with a 5-1 win over but face an even tougher measure of their progress under Eddie Howe with a visit to Manchester City in Saturday’s late game.

There are two London derbies to look forward to with Arsenal and Chelsea facing tough trips to Crystal Palace and West Ham.

As ever, is on hand to preview the action…

Nottingham Forest v Sheffield United

The way Forest saved themselves last season was great and credit to them. This season, both teams will be battling for survival but I think Forest will win this weekend. Sheffield United were unlucky last time out but they are going to have a tough life in the Premier League. Prediction: 2-1.

Liverpool v Bournemouth

Liverpool were average against Chelsea and they’ll be anxious to get their first win of the season. They have so much firepower, and I expect them to turn up for this one. I think Liverpool will win this one. Prediction: 3-0.

Wolves v Brighton

We saw how well Wolves played against Man United, but we know what Brighton can do on their day. I really enjoy watching Brighton play, they work really hard and are very effective. I will go for Brighton to win this one. Prediction: 1-2.

Fulham v Brentford

I’ll go for Fulham. They had a good win against Everton, Mitrovic is still there and they signed Adama Traore. The squad is a good one so I’ll go for Fulham to win. Prediction: 1-0.

Spurs v Man United

That’ll be a good game and I’ll be there. If Man United play like they did against Wolves, they’ll lose. Spurs did well to score two against Brentford, but they need to be a bit stronger defensively. I think you could easily see a draw here. Prediction: 2-2.

Man City v Newcastle

This is a big game. People don’t give Newcastle much credit. The team is flying. Man City won’t underestimate them but I’m feeling like we could see a surprise in this one and I’ll go for a draw. Prediction: 2-2.

Aston Villa v Everton

It’ll be tough for Everton. Aston Villa will be disappointed with their defeat on the opening day. They will want to bounce back this weekend and I think they will win. Prediction: 2-0.

West Ham v Chelsea

Chelsea will do really well this year, people were surprised when I said they could win the title this season, but they have made some good signings and I think we will see them win against West Ham. Prediction: 0-2.

Crystal Palace v Arsenal

Arsenal will want to continue last season’s form. They were rusty last week and need to be careful against Palace. It’s not an easy place to go, and I think Palace will make life hard for Arsenal. I’ll go for a draw. Prediction: 1-1.
