It means that Haaland has become the fastest player to reach 50 goal involvements in the history of the Premier League.
Haaland has now registered 42 goals and nine assists across 39 top-flight games, surpassing Andrew Cole, who got to 50 goal involvements in 43 matches.
The Norwegian striker has already broken numerous Premier League records since he moved to City last summer from Borussia Dortmund.
Haaland scored more goals in a single Premier League season (36) than any other player in history – in what was his first campaign working under Guardiola last term.
He also became the first Premier League player ever to score hat-tricks in three consecutive home games.
Haaland helped City win a historic treble last season and Guardiola’s side have made a flying start to the new 2023-24 campaign.
