Frankfurt have set a heft asking price of £68million for and Liverpool target Hugo Larsson.
The Swede, 19, joined the Bundesliga club in an £8m deal from Malmo in 2023.
But his stock has risen significantly during his first season in , with a host of clubs scouting the midfielder.
Larsson already has four caps for his country, and the fee Frankfurt paid Malmo is a club record for a player sold by the club.
The midfielder was bought as one for the future but even Frankfurt have been surprised by his adaptation this term, with Larsson now considered a first-teamer.
And that’s alerted the likes of Arsenal and Liverpool, who have been impressed with Larsson’s progress.
BILD say Frankfurt would reluctantly let Larsson leave this summer, but they’d require a fee of around £68m.
That would be excessive for a player that cost just £8m in 2023 but Larsson’s value is only expected to increase in the coming years.
