Erik ten Hag has lamented three refereeing decisions he felt cost Manchester United against Arsenal.

y with Declan Rice and Gabriel Jesus both scoring in injury time to seal a dramatic victory.

The visitors thought they had snatched the win themselves with slotting home after 87 minutes, only for his goal to be ruled out for offside much to the fury of ten Hag.

Moments before that, signing went down in the box under pressure from Arsenal defender with the United boss adamant a penalty should have been awarded.

And to add further salt to the wounds, ten Hag was convinced Rice’s decisive goal five minutes into injury time should not have stood, insisting Johnny Evans was fouled as the ball came into the box as he tussled with Gabriel.

Speaking to Sky Sports at full-time, ten Hag raged at the three key decisions he felt went against his side.

‘I think we played a very good game but I think everything went against us,’ ten Hag said. ‘With a little more luck we win the game.

‘It is not offside [for Garnacho’s goal]. Wrong angle. It is a penalty on Hojlund. And when we concede a goal, it is a foul on Jonny Evans.

‘It is so clear and obvious. But it was a step forward and I’m happy with the performance.’

United had earlier taken the lead through Marcus Rashford only to be pegged back a minute later by Martin Odegaard’s strike.

Bruno Fernandes was left to rue another defeat on the road for his side but was encouraged by the improvements he saw in north London.

‘It is always tough to lose the way we lost. We conceded the late goal after trying to get the draw,’ Fernandes said.

‘They are a good team, they created a lot of problems for us. It was a good game for both teams but they got the points in the end.

‘I felt the game was balanced. They had some spells on the ball but we wanted them to have that, we knew we could create the danger on the counters.

‘It is what it is, if it is an offside we can’t get on that. It was a good game, I am disappointed by the result, but the performance of the team, the passion was there. If we keep doing this consistently we will get results.’
