The race for the top four could go down to the wire, but the Magpies and the Red Devils have their destiny in their own hands with three games to play.
Newcastle are third and Man Utd fourth, both on 66 points, with Liverpool biting at their heels but four points adrift in fifth on 62 points.
’s men still have to face Brighton and Leicester at home before a final day trip to Chelsea, while Erik ten Hag takes his team to Bournemouth before hosting Chelsea and then Fulham.
Klopp reckons that the it will be six wins from six for his rivals, meaning there is nothing that they can do to climb the table and must worry more about teams behind them in the league.
‘Still I expect United and Newcastle to win all their games,’ Klopp told Sky Sports. ‘That means we have to win all of our games anyway to keep distance from the team behind us.
‘That’s the first thing we have to be concerned about. If not then we will see what happens, but in the moment nothing really changed.’
Liverpool also have three games to play, the first of which is at Leicester on Monday night when they can put some pressure on the teams above them with a victory.
The Foxes are desperate for points themselves, though, as another defeat would leave them two points adrift of safety with just two games to play.
‘It will be a real fight and we have to be ready for that,’ Klopp said of taking on Dean Smith’s side. ‘They need all the points they can get. I expect a super difficult game.’
