are ready to use in a swap-deal to sign defender Gleison Bremer.
Greenwood hasn’t played for the club since January 2022, when he was arrested and charged with attempted rape and assault.
Those charges were dropped 13 months later and United conducted an interval investigation into material that was published online.
United said the evidence they had seen painted a different picture to what was seen online and they were satisfied that Greenwood did not commit the charges he was originally charged over.
However, it was decided that his future would be best served away from Old Trafford and he’s impressed during a loan spell with Getafe this term.
While United have not ruled out Greenwood playing for the club again, their preference is to sell him this summer.
Juventus have showed interest in Greenwood and Gazzetta dello Sport say United are ready to use the striker in a deal for Bremer.
Bremer, who has a £43m release clause in his contract, is valued at a similar price to Greenwood.
Given Juventus’ cash problems, a swap deal could be preferable for the Italians.
United are walking a Financial Fair Play tightrope of their own, and Greenwood’s status as an academy product is particularly valuable as any deal for the striker could be 100% reinvested.
Antony, Casemiro, Jadon Sancho, Raphael Varane and Victor Lindelof are all for sale.
Donny van de Beek, Facundo Pellistri, Brandon Williams and Anthony Martial are all expected to leave.
