has called on the Arsenal squad to stick together and make sure that make sure the 3-0 defeat at on Monday night was a one-off performance over the rest of the season.

The Gunners suffered a heavy blow in their race for a top four finish as goals from Jean-Philippe Mateta, Jordan Ayew and a Wilfried Zaha penalty gave the Eagles a resounding win.

Mikel Arteta’s side are only one point and one place behind Spurs in fourth and they have a game in hand over their north rivals, so their destiny remains in their own hands.

Odeagaard has warned his teammates that they must not linger on a bad night out at Selhurst Park and make sure they do not let it harm them in huge upcoming games.

‘We have to make sure it’s not [damaging],’ Odegaard told Media.

‘It’s only one game so we have to make sure the next one we’re on the level we’re supposed to be at. One bad game can happen but we have to make sure it’s only one and strike back and that starts tomorrow at the training ground. We have to look forward.

‘We’re all disappointed, obviously. It was a hard one for us to take. We’ve played really, really good lately and had so many good games. This one was hard for us. We’re going to make sure it doesn’t happen again.

‘I think it’s up to everybody to stick together. It’s easy to stick together when we’re winning and doing well, so we’ll stick together and fight to win the next game.’

To complete an awful evening for Arsenal, Thomas Partey suffered an injury and Kieran Tierney missed the match, with Arteta confirming that Kieran Tierney has to see a specialist about the knee problem that kept him out of the game.

Both men could be missing for the upcoming fixtures against Brighton and Southampton.
