Roma have set an eye-watering £100m asking price for former striker after the club received interest from the Premier League for the England ace.
Abraham, 24, has thrived in the Italian capital since joining ’s side in a £40m deal last summer.
The former Chelsea ace has scored 23 goals in 40 appearances so far this term and his brace against Lazio last weekend saw him break a long-standing record held by Gabriel Batistuta for goals in a debut season at the club.
was happy to let Abraham leave last summer after the £97m signing of Romelu Lukaku from Inter Milan but the England forward has left the Blues questioning their decision with his form this term.
Chelsea have a buy-back clause in Abraham’s contract that allows them to re-sign the forward for £67m in 2023 but Roma are already receiving strong interest in the striker.
The Daily Mail claim the Italian giants are depserate to keep Abraham and have slapped a £100m price tag on his head.
Manchester United and Manchester City are both touted as possible destinations should Abraham return to England, as they’re two clubs in need of a striker and both could afford the forward.
United want to sign a new, dynamic centre forward to compete with Cristiano Ronaldo next term, while City have played most of the season without a recognised centre forward.
Roma’s preference is to keep Abraham but they’d struggle to turn down bids close to their valuation, particularly as they posted losses of £154m last year.
Abraham, for his part, is enjoying life in Serie A and is minded to stay for at least another 12 months in Italy.
