Babatunde Aleshe thought he’d be a ‘train-wreck’ on I’m A Celebrity as he becomes fifth star eliminated

I’m A Celebrity has eliminated its fifth star with Babatunde Aleshe leaving the jungle.

The was voted out by the public, hugging his campmates before heading to see hosts Ant and Dec.

Sitting down, he proceeded to chuck half of his glass of bubbles over himself, leaving the Geordie duo in pieces. Oh Baba!

‘I have loved it in there but I needed my freedom,’ he admitted.

Chatting about how difficult he found the show, he explained: ‘I used to think to myself these guys were just playing and spending two and a half weeks in there, it’s hardcore. It’s intense.’

While he , admitting he thought the experience would be a ‘train wreck’, he went on to face his fears, successfully taking on more trials.

Asked who he’d like to win, he said he’s rooting for Owen Warner.

Babatunde had a journey in the jungle, abandoning his first trial with Jill Scott and Charlene White, which saw the trio having to hang over the edge of a skyscraper.

However, he’s since had a blast in camp, becoming close pals with campmates like Boy George and Seann Walsh.

Babatunde’s final episode saw him open up about his comedy career with Seann.

‘I stopped because I had a mental block. I can’t come up with new stuff. I just can’t come up with new jokes, it’s just not happening for me. I lost the love,’ he recalled.

‘I made the smart choice, left acting and I was just working, normal nine to five. Then a month later, everything changed. Everything.

‘Mo [Gilligan] invited me to do a podcast with him and then he was like, ‘Oh, do you want to come on tour with me?’ and then from there it just went crazy.

‘From an office job to 10 nights at the Apollo to the O2 arena, to here. To the jungle. I’m so grateful for this opportunity.’

Babatunde’s exit comes after was , with Corrie’s exiting on Monday.

Boy George has since been getting back on his social media following his exit, chatting to fans about his time on the show.

Meanwhile, he was spotted meeting his fellow campmates’ loved ones, including a , Matt Hancock’s girlfriend.

Boy George was also pictured reuniting with his co-stars Scarlette, who looked over the moon to be back in his company.
