star has revealed she was in a scene of as a child.
The 51-year-old presenter shocked her co-host when she announced on Wednesday morning that she was an extra in the 1981 film.
The drama stars the likes of and Ian Charleson, but Sally was also in the back.
Jon, 53, probed: ‘You’ve got your own little secret movie past, haven’t you?’
As the iconic Chariots of Fire music begun in the background, Sally revealed: ‘It isn’t very secret but I’m in an Oscar-winning film as an extra, it was when I was a kid, in Chariots of Fire.
‘When I was little, our primary school and everybody where I lived locally went to be part of the scene in Chariots of Fire which was the Paris Olympics.
‘It was at the Oval Sports Centre, sorry to shatter that illusion for everyone.
‘I had a little costume and everything, I think I’ve still got the hat somewhere.’
But Sally admitted it would be difficult to spot her, saying it’s ‘very unlikely’ as the scene which she was in had a crowd with too many other people.
After Jon urged viewers to ‘freeze frame’ the scene to ‘find’ her, Sally insisted they’d ‘never find me’.
‘I don’t think you will… I don’t know!’
Chariots of Fire won four Oscars after seven nominations, for best picture, best writing, best music and best costume designer.
The 1982 film follows two British runners, Eric Liddell – a Christian Scot who refused to race on a Sunday – and Harold Abrahams – an English Jew battling anti-semitism – at the 1924 Olympics.
BBC Breakfast airs weekdays from 6am on BBC One.
