are royalty of the modelling world, but their older sister Alana Hadid rocked the catwalk in style at Copenhagen Fashion Week.
Alana – who is a 40-year-old fashion designer – took to the runway for the first ever time wearing Scandinavian brand Saks Potts’ spring/summer collection.
There wasn’t any Barbie-pink here, like all of us normals are embracing this summer (hi Barbie!), but a sheer, elegant beigey-gold floor-length dress.
The star looked incredible in the mesh number, as the leaves elegantly draped down her figure and brushed the floor.
Looking o-natural, Alana embraced a head of relaxed curls and no makeup for the look, which almost wouldn’t look out of place in JRR Tolkien’s fictional Rivendell alongside Orlando Bloom.
Alana is the and, as her father is Mohammed Hadid like the two models, but her mother is the real estate developer’s ex-wife, Mary Butler.
While she sometimes makes modelling cameos, Alana is primarily about the design element, and co-founded LA unisex brand Detresse in 2017.
Marking the special catwalk moment, Alana took to Instafgram with a little snippet video from the rainy event, and said: ‘Core memory made in Denmark with @sakspotts ?? my first runway!
‘Thank you @barbarapotts @cathrinesaks ??️✨what a way to arrive to Copenhagen, opening for the most amazing brand… in the rain.’
She’s collaborated with Lou & Grey in the past, and has previously described herself – with her fondness for slogan T-shirts – as the sisters’ most ‘androgynous’ dresser.
Younger brother, 24-year-old Anwar Hadid – who is full sibling to Bella and Gigi – famously dated Dua Lipa from 2019 to 2021.
But hold on, hold on: there’s more.
Enter Marielle Hadid, who is Alana’s full sister from their father’s first marriage, which ended in 1992.
Marielle, 44, is a mother of two kids – Colton and Coco – and launched an eyewear brand called Hadid Eyewear.
The supportive older sister remarked on Alana’s celebratory post with a pretty hilarious comment, as she said: ‘Turn 40 become runway model.’
