BTS ARMY – Plus Day has served up a huge surprise.
Today, the concert film BTS: Permission to Dance on Stage – LA dropped on the platform, revealing a close look at the megastar group’s live performance at the SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, which took place in late 2021.
The seven-strong South Korean boyband perform an array of their biggest hits during the concert, from Dynamite to Butter, wowing the crowds with their synchronised choreography and vocals.
Described as the ‘ultimate reunion of BTS and ARMY’, the concert delivers a true spectacle in true BTS fashion.
The group – made up of Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook – pour their hearts and souls into the performance, oozing charisma and natural stage presence as they interact with the screaming audience.
As can be expected, BTS Army have been sent into a frenzy over the unexpected release of the film.
‘Ugh, why can’t I call in sick to work today!?’ one person tweeted alongside a sobbing emoji in a desperate plea to skip work so they can watch the film instead.
‘I loved this concert so much!! BTS puts on the best concerts in the world!!!!!!!!’ someone else wrote in deep admiration for the band.
Several people were left utterly shocked by the surprise release of the movie, as one wrote: ‘No way,’ and another chimed in to ask: ‘Are you kidding?’
‘Best surprise EVER!’ someone else said.
BTS have taken the world by storm since launching almost 10 years ago in 2013, going on to win several American Music Awards, Billboard Music Awards, E! People’s Choice Awards and earning two Grammy nods so far.
They’re collectively the best-selling artist in South Korean history, while four years ago, they became the youngest recipients of the Order of Cultural Merit from the President of South Korea.
BTS: Permission to Dance on Stage – LA is available to watch on Disney Plus.
