Keith Duffy supports Ronan Keating at brother’s funeral after unexpected death

After the unexpected death of ’s brother Ciarán, bandmate has been right by his side, including at the funeral.

took place today after Keating, who was in his 50s,  at the weekend.

Ronan, 46, has been quiet since the loss, deleting his Instagram and not releasing any public statements.

His famous brother was at the funeral at St Patrick’s Church in Louisburgh, Co Mayo.

Also in the crash was Keating’s wife Anne-Marie who was taken to hospital and treated for her non-life-threatening injuries.

The 48-year-old could be seen in a smart three-piece black suit offering support to the family.

In his Instagram post, the Boyzone singer wrote: ‘I can’t comprehend the loss and devastation of My brother @rokeating and all the Keating family All my family are praying and thinking of our Keating family right now. ❤️❤️❤️❤️’

He shared fond memories of Keating coming on tour with the band, which also included Stephen Gately, Mikey Graham, and Shane Lynch.

‘Ciaran from the early days you toured with us you were a great guide on our journey in the early days You helped and supported us young innocent kids. Take your place in heaven buddy with your Mam Marie ❤️?,’ he added.

The funeral included mourners from Cork City FC as well as representatives of the Marie Keating Foundation cancer .

Ronan sang This Is Your Song towards the end of the emotional service, which he wrote originally for his mother’s passing.

Lyrics included: ‘You were our friend, walk with you till the end, and one day we’ll all sing along, ’cause this is your song.’
