Chris Appleton has filed for from husband Lukas Gage after just six months of marriage, it has been claimed.
’s hair stylist, 40, , 28, in April of this year, with the Skims owner officiating the ceremony.
Their nuptials , as cameras captured the sweet moment they said their vows.
However, multiple US outlets report that the couple have gone their separate ways.
According to documents obtained by , the hairdresser submitted paperwork to legally end their marriage earlier today, and listed their separation date as Friday.
Neither have spoken publicly over the reports, while the reason for their split was ‘irreconcilable differences’.
An insider told the outlet that it wasn’t an easy decision Chris, who ‘tried everything he could’ to make things work with the star, but ultimately needed to make the ‘best decision for himself’.
The couple were romantically linked earlier this year, and in March.
Lukas was smitten as he revealed that he was ‘very much in love’ during an appearance on the Today show.
‘I feel very happy, very lucky and very much in love,’ he told the host at the time. ‘He’s a good-looking man. There’s something about being in London.
‘I think I got a taste of the Brits and couldn’t help myself.’
‘I think this mane needed to be tamed. I also needed to be tamed,’ the You actor joked. ‘We have fun together. We go on adventures. He’s the best.’
In a separate interview on the Drew Barrymore show, Chris also agreed: ‘I’m very happy.
‘I’m very much in love and I feel very grateful to be able to share my time with someone very special.’
They got engaged shortly after, before jetting to Vegas in April to walk down the aisle, with Kim overseeing their nuptials.
The ceremony was featured in the latest episode of the Kardashian – which aired just last week – and showed the moment they were serenaded by Shania Twain before tying the knot.
