Sam Asghari has described to as like something out of a movie.’
The personal trainer over the weekend, seven years after they first met on the set of her Slumber Party video.
Having got engaged in September 2021, Britney, 40, and actor Sam, 28, were married at Britney’s home in Thousand Oaks, Los Angeles.
Britney’s mother Lynne, father Jamie, and sister Jamie-Lynn were notably absent, but there were plenty more close friends present to help Britney celebrate.
The Toxic Singer has since shared a of the big day, featuring her arriving to the ceremony in a horse-drawn carriage, guests partying at the reception – and the magical moment the couple say their vows.
Britney’s video has proved massively popular with fans and friends of the couple, with Sam himself commenting on the post stating the day was ‘out of a movie.’
The video begins with a drawing of Sam and Britney’s wedding outfits, Britney’s dress designed by Donatella Versace.
It moves on to show Sam picking up his suit from the rack and Britney posing in her wedding gown, with Sam nervously checking the time on his watch as the ‘movie’ day begins.
Britney then arrives in a white, flower-laden horse-drawn carriage, as ‘I Can’t Help Falling In Love With You’ plays in the background.
The couple stand hand-in-hand at an altar made entirely of flowers, beaming at each other, as Sam appears to say his vows underneath the sound of the music.
Guests applaud as Britney and Sam walk down the aisle together as a newly-married couple, before heading off in the carriage together and sharing a kiss on the balcony of Britney’s home.
Eventually, the husband and wife take off together in a white Rolls Royce with the words ‘Just married’ painted on the back – a day ‘out of a movie’ indeed.
Paris Hilton, a close friend of Britney’s who was present at the wedding, wrote: ‘Such a magical evening. So happy you found your fairytale ending. You deserve all the love and happiness in the world. ?
‘So happy to be there to celebrate with you on your special day. ??♀️Love you sis.’
In a caption alongside her post, Britney shared the names of those who had helped make everything perfect on their big day, including Versace for designing the dress, Charlotte and Sofia Tilbury for her make-up and Kevin Ostajewski for filming everything.
She also thanked Stephanie Gottlieb for designing her ring, with the jeweller later commenting that the video was ‘beyond beautiful,’ adding: ‘So happy for you.’
It was certainly a night to remember for many reasons, with Britney singing a duet of Stars are Blind with heiress Paris and boogying to her own music with the likes of Madonna and Selena Gomez.
While Brit changed out of her wedding gown after the ceremony, she kept the style going with three new Versace dresses throughout the night, including a daring red minidress.
However, the day didn’t go by without a hiccup, as Britney’s first ex-husband Jason Alexander .
Britney’s sons, Sean Preston, 16, and Jayden James, 15, who she shares with ex Kevin Federline, are but wished their mother the best for the big day.
