Netflix’s released pictures seem to confirm that Dustin Henderson’s camp sweetheart Suzie Jacobs will make an appearance in the upcoming season of .
The officialfor the beloved Hawkins crew which includes Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) and Max Mayfield (Sadie Sink) and Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin).
And judging by a recent photo, another fan favourite is making a grand return.
A Twitter page dedicated to all things relating to the fourth chapter uploaded a snap of Mike (Finn Wolfhard) Will (Noah Schnapp) Jonathan, (Charlie Heaton) and his friend Argyle (Eduardo Franco) in someone’s bedroom.
At first glance, it just looks like your average picture, however one attentive fan turned their attention to the microphone in the left right corner – the same microphone that belongs to the one and only Suzie (Gabriella Pizzolo).
In what was hailed as the, Suzie and Dustin, aka Dusty Bun, burst into song right at the climax when the characters were desperately trying to figure out a code to shut the gate to the Upside Down.
Fans expressed their excitement over Suzie’s return, with one writing: ‘I am requesting another duet between Dustin and Suzie in season 4 please because that made my life.’
‘I want more Dustin and Suzie interactions on S4,’ another added.
Not much is known about Suzie’s cameo, or whether her relationship with Dustin will be given any more explanation.
But after their hilarious yet totally endearing rendition of Neverending Story, we wouldn’t say no to another impromptu duet.
In an open letter to fans, the Duffer Brothers confirmed in February that with the upcoming fourth instalment airing in two parts.
Weighing in on the decision to bring the sci-fi drama to an end, executive producer Shawn Levy said the team behind the show didn’t want to go beyond the arc that had been originally mapped out.
‘Well, we never wanted to run on fumes and we wanted to only tell as much story as the brothers saw and feel with clarity,’ he explained.
‘So it’s been clear for a while that they know exactly where we’re headed and this is the arc.’
Stranger Things season four arrives on Netflix on Friday May 27, with the first three seasons available to watch on the platform.
