star has reportedly broken up with her new boyfriend.
It has been claimed the professional dancer, 34, and ex-football player William Abbotts, 26, have parted ways after a brief romance.
While Katya and the property mogul never confirmed the relationship, they are believed to have started dating in the summer and were spotted on a number of dates in Cheshire.
A source claimed Katya and William’s relationship ‘ran its course’ and the BBC star had instead turned her focus on winning the BBC ballroom series.
She reportedly believes reaching the final is a real possibility with celebrity partner and , who has regularly impressed judges including Motsi Mabuse and Shirley Ballas.
A source told : ‘The union ran its course. Katya is single and focusing on the dance competition.
‘She knows she has a strong chance of making it to the final this year. She doesn’t want any distractions.’
Nigel, who married actress Lucy Liemann in 2011 and welcomed a daughter together the following year, – which dog most Strictly partnerships every year – between himself and Katya.
Speaking to Metro.co.uk, and Russian choreographer laughed off the idea that his marriage is at risk.
‘Well, I strapped your leg yesterday, your calf, that was such a moment,’ teased Katya.
‘That was romantic,’ Nigel mocked.
‘To tell you the truth, I don’t operate or move in those circles, so that’s the first I’ve heard of it.
‘But, you know, it’s inevitable and it’s part of signing up for the show, but I couldn’t be less interested.’
Katya was previously married to her BBC co-star Neil Jones from 2013 until 2019, the year after she was snapped kissing her then-Strictly partner, comedian Seann Walsh.
Neil, 41, later became engaged to Love Island star Chyna Mills, 23, and together earlier this month.
Despite parting ways, Katya has appeared to have remained on good terms with Neil, congratulating him on his baby news.
When he announced he was about to become a father, Katya said she was ‘so happy for these two’ and that they ‘deserve all the happiness.’
