N-Dubz first got together in 2000, although their debut single – You Better Not Waste My Time – was released in 2006.

The trio got together in 2000 and began making music together as teenagers in Camden Town where they had all grown up,

They released the singles Bad Man Riddim and Life Is Getting Sicker by the Day under the original name of the Lickie Rinsers Crew, which became hits on pirate radio stations.

They then changed their name to NW1 – but in order to avoid confusion with the and rap group NWA, they change their name again to N-Dubz, and first entered the UK charts with 2007’s Feva Las Vegas.

In that same year, they won a for Best UK newcomer, establishing themselves in the mainstream music scene.

Their debut album Uncle B – released in 2008 – went double platinum and featured four UK top-40 singles.

Their second album – 2009’s Against All Odds – featured their first top-10 single (I Need You) while their third and (currently) last album Love Live Life became their third consecutive platinum release.

Fazer even spoke about it with as far back as 2017, stating that

‘100%, that’s definitely going to come really soonish.

‘Not right now, we’ve all got individual things we’re focusing on at the minute, but obviously it’s all about timing.’

Fazer and Dappy – best friends since childhood – were the first to start rapping together but decided they wanted a female voice in the group, back when it was called the Lickle Rinsers Crew at the time, and invited Tulisa to be part of the group.
